Return to the Wild

Wherever you turn at Chelsea, each garden has a unique story to tell. Over five glorious days in late May, London erupts in a riot of colour and fragrance as the prestigious RHS Chelsea Flower Show opens its doors to the world’s gardening elite, members of the Royal Family and the Great British flower-loving public.

At The Ivy Collection, we also love to create new stories though our delicious menus and vibrant restaurant spaces. With summer in full bloom, we invite you to celebrate the world-renowned flower show in our own inimitable style with an exceptional dining experience in beautiful surroundings.

Imagine if you will a wildflower meadow where bees gently bumble about the foxgloves and butterflies flit between wild thyme and yellow irises. In this fictional setting, a merry band of woodland creatures gather to play instruments surrounded by singing flowers. This whimsical scene is best illustrated on the cover of our new dining menus, while pretty posies and other floral design touches form the basis of our stunning new tablescapes.

Our new and tantalising set menu fuses fresh and seasonal ingredients, all with a unique provenance and good green credentials. From the dessert list, The Wild Garden, made with juicy wild strawberries, raspberries, vanilla cream and chocolate soil is delicate and delectable.

And when it comes to quenching your thirst, fragrant British wildflowers – rose, elderflower, hibiscus and honeysuckle to name but a few – lend themselves perfectly to our latest collection of delicious summer cocktails. Take your pick from ‘Shake, Rattle & Roll’ – a classic Absolut Elyx vodka martini made with a splash of lime juice and served with a spiral of fresh cucumber on the side, or, for a dash of summertime colour, ‘Sonic Flower Groove’ is a vision in soft cornflower blue made with Italian aperitvo, Italicus. Another gin-based tipple, ‘Gins ‘n’ Roses’, gets its light blush from natural ingredients including pink grapefruit juice and Lillet Rosé. And when it comes to the finishing touches, delicate flower petals and a twist of citrus fruit peel add a delightful garnish to any plate or glass.

For a dining experience to remember, with desserts and cocktails worthy of a ‘best in show’ award, join us as we mark the Chelsea Flower Show, 24th – 28th May or treat your nearest and dearest to a gift voucher.
